Im new to this and wished i would of known to buy a acekard2i from a place that would of flashed it for my dsi xl

Because now i found out the only way i can flash it myself is by buying another ds fat or ds lite or dsi with 1.3

So I just wanted to make this thread and ask a question that i probably already know the answer is I will have to buy another ds to do this
or buy another acekard2i from someone that sells them pre flashed for dsi xl

So I have to ask can i down grade my dsi xl from 1.4 to 1.3

    stupid question, huh?

thanks now i know 100% that i am doing one of the only 2 options i have

just bought one off ebay for $86 free shipping
i could of tried to get one like it in good contidtion for for a little cheeper by trying to snipe auctions 3 seconds before ending but tonight there seemed to be a group of people bidding higher on ds lites that were more used in auctions thans nicer ones for lower buy it now prices

strange some items that auction like game systems ushally go for more than they do at buy it now prices

but items like hard drives always go cheaper on auctions than buy it now

anyways it seems like a nice one from a very reputable seller

Onyx Black Nintendo DS Lite Game System
    FREE SHIPPING
    Contains:
    Nintendo DS Lite System
    AC Power Adapter
    Stylus
This item has been been pre-owned but is in great condition and tested to insure everything works perfectly.
The system may have very minor scratches on the case and/or screen.

It didn't occur to you to test it before buying another DS?!?!?!? You must have been desperate.

yes it did occur to me to test it but i did not because a message sent to me by a senior member of this site

    http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=220228&hl=

If you're on DSi 1.3 and your Acekard 2i is not flashed, I suggest you do it BEFORE you update to 1.4. You can find out how, here. Look at Section 8.

this made me think i should not test it because i could brick the card

later on i found out that all dsi xl come with 1.4 and even if you bricked the acekard2i it can be unbricked

and of course after i had already bought the ds lite

it dont matter though i might buy 20 ds lites im doing all this to sell them anyways

Read the rest of the thread, seline. He already has a solution. No need to tell him to get another Acekard.
