Can i change an external hard drive into an internal?

    Yes, all you have to do is just crack open the case and it will be a 2.5sata hard drive, but it would probably be cheaper just to buy an internal laptop hard drive

    that is true but im too young to have a credit car, im lucky to even get that from my parents, but thanks

    Not all external HDD can be converted into internal. WD uses a USB only board on some of thier external HDDs, making opening up to get the drive almost worthless.

    i just want to know, will it work with that particular drive? the one i have is 300 gb

    Do you even know what type of HDD your laptop supports, SATA or PATA.

    then

    If you already have that external, take it apart and find out what type it uses. If it isn't something your laptop takes, you got your answer of NO.


    We don't all have the same stuff like that external HDD to tell you if it will work in your laptop or not. Your only going to get that answer by doing it yourself.
