Hacking Can I backup the firmware on my 10.1.0-27E o3DS?

I know you can't lower the firmware for 9.3+ 3DSs without a backup, I know, I know.
I just want to know if I can backup my firmware on my current 3DS, so if something gets patched 10.2+, I can just go back to 10.1?

It will allow you to dump and write your nand

For o3ds you can consider a system transfer to another unit with lower firmware (sysnand to emunand), otherwise there is little value to 'preserve' the newer firmware
