its possible to backup all my sd switch files (saves, games, cfw etc.) then delete them just to partition the sd card to install android, and put the files back, all my games will be there after i put them back? is it safe?

its almost 100 gb of files, hekate cant backup them

You could always backup the files using UMS from Hekate
Seen alot of other members that say you shoulden eject and insert the SD too much, since you could damage the SD reader in your Switch, if its true or not i have no idea about

I used this when playing around with it last weekend
Cheers for this.

After a quick scan im a little confused about if you need to backup the sdcard first (mine has all the switch goodies i want to keep) eg whats the best software to use for the back up as its so big (150gb worth).
once its backed up i just use the part the sd can with Hekate ?
how do i get my files back onto the sd card without removing the android part?

ok bruh, im going to try to make a solution
to backup, use teracopy
then follow this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-unofficial-switchroot-android-10.4229761/
to add it back, move the backup to the switch partition (fat32) (probably, im not sure about this part)

You can either take out the SD card and back up the files on your Pc, or you can connect your Switch to your Pc with a USB cabel and use UMS from Hekate to transfer the files to your pc

You don't need to use a software to copy and paste files from your SD card to your computer.
