Hacking Can I back up save files from actual games?

I was going to sell animal crossing, but I was wondering. Can I back up the save file using a program? I have an EZ Pass 2, an EZ4 Lite, and the actual retail copy of animal crossing. Thanks.

OK, I just got ETool v.3 and Rein. Will either of these work with the EZ4?

cory1492's ETool works for EZ4, I've used it to transfer saves from original carts to EZ4.
