Hacking Can game saves from EU n3DS be transferred to NA n3DS?

I have a 9.2 EU New 3DS I use with gateway and an 8.1 JP New 3DS I'd like to change into an NA New 3DS. Can I transfer game saves?

Gateway is region free so as long as you use the same rom / header your fine
