Can be used an HD to run backups with homebrew?
Can I use the one I used for Wii?
So which requirements it must have? Clean FAT32 hd?
plug it into wii u it will format it for you
short version: no
Everything you need to know:
except you can't use a HD with loadiine.
wait your right
What does it mean i cant use an hd with loadiine? only standard dvd?
You don't need to know, just follow this:
So there are 2 ways of running "backups" (we all know what you mean - loadiine and Brazillian. The Brazillian method will allow you to install any game to your home menu, as long as it was released both on a disc and on the eshop. Loadiine, however, is a homebrew app that can load most apps, but only from an SD card.
It doesn't matter.
Yes, you can use HD but if you want run backups you will need a y cable.
Yes, it matters, the brazillian method only works with games that had both disc and eshop versions, because of patching tickets, anything that wasnt released on both needs sigpatches.
That's why it doesn't matter...
It's like you're roasting yourself.
In the context of this thread, i assume op doesnt know about sigpatches, or loadiine, or the brazillian method, so im keeping it as simple as possible.
not all Hard disc drives require a y cable you know.
This guy doesn't even know that what Loadiine is, I'm guessing @ItsKipz is trying to keep it simple
Yes i know,i only use y cable on my vWii :/
