Can anyone repair my .sav file for Pokemon D/P? I upgraded my DS-X and apparently the latest version of the DS-X firmware corrupts data for this game. If you think you can do it, please contact me.

It still does not work.. Thank you for helping me though

Would you mind telling me what you are trying to do to repair it? I'm curious so I can do it myself if it ever happens again

sometimes the ds-xtreme writes over new saves you put on the card. Make sure you play another game except pokemon first before you copy the save over. Pokesav has helped me fix 3 diffrent corruption problems. I helped someone fix his ds-xtreme save today and it worked.

well it must be fixable some how because pokesav picks up all the data with your save. All your pokemon names are there and everything. give me a few minutes i think theres another procedure so the ds-xtreme doesn't corrupt over the repaired save.

Try this method someone posted on the ds-xtreme forums .

It sounds to me like your backup is corrupted indeed.

    Anyway, try this:

    1. Delete the .SAV files for both apps on the DS-X.
    2. Load the app for which you have the backup and do the UP+SELECT+B at titlescreen. When done simply restart your DS, don't start a new game.
    3. Let the EEPROM message to appear, then shutdown your DS.
    4. Delete the created .SAV file on the DS-X and replace it with your backup
    5. Load the same app again and try to continue your progress

How come Pokesav can still show all my data?

I have a back up of my file from 6 hours back but I would still like to recover the original if possible

Hey, it was me that thegame07 help fix my Pokemon .sav. What I did was simply downgrade firmware and use a .sav dated May 9th that I had. Seems that the .sav dated May 15 with my 1.1.2 still got corrupted in 1.1.0 even edited in Pokesav. Gotta catch some Pokes again, but I prefer a working .sav to one I fear it can get corrupted at any moment.
