can anyone help me why cant my computer read a ndstt micro sd card rea

    Hello can anyone help me my computer cant read a ndstt microsd card reader with a 4gb kingston micro sd card inserted. do i need a driver or any any type of software

    You don't need a driver unless you are using an operating system older than XP, really.

    Did you put the MicroSD card into the reader before you put the reader into the USB port, or after?

    With some readers, that can make a difference.

    thanks for your reply. yes i have put my micro sd card on my ndstt reader. but the computer says that the sd card wont work properly.

    What is the exact message you get?

    Also, have you tried formatting the card?

    does the USB reader show up as a drive, or is it just not there?

    if it shows up as a drive, right-click on it, and select 'format' ... just go with the default options for now, to see if that helps any.

    sorry about that. it shows up something ill try it now if i will format my sd card will it delete its files thanks

    Yes, formatting will erase everything from the card.

    Because i have put nds games on this sd card. but i used a different computer in the internet cafe and that computer reads it and by the way that computer uses vista

    i have tried many computer that uses xp and they cant read my sd card

    XP has built-in drivers for USB card readers ... does the card work in your DS?

    Also, is the USB port you are connecting the reader to in the PC, or is it in a hub?

    You are gonna have to re-format the card, I reckon.

    Sounds like when it was formatted with Vista, that something went awry.

    and i am using a hub because my computer does not have any high speed usb port.

    ah ... the hub could be your problem ... just plug the reader into a USB port on the PC itself, and see what happens.
