I have been having medical problems for the past few months over time and just recently its gotten to the point where its been just stupidly annoying to deal with. My mom is an admin who works at a hospital and my dad stays home and goes off of my moms advice.

Whenever I talk to my mom she gives me an answer but then I ask "Well how does this medication help" "How will this actually fix my problem" "Are there other options" and I just get a response like "I am a (add title here) professional and I know what I'm doing " even if I ask if I can talk to a doctor about it or make an appointment for a checkup I guess she doesn't want that either.

I don't want to go my whole life just saying "okay its this way" but I also don't want to be wondering all the time without actually talking about stuff and solutions.
I'm having back problems (cosmetically), and having trouble figuring out if I need to poop (Why, I don't know, I don't have any pain but its like, strange becuase the idea of needing to go poop comes back and out :shit:)

So dealing with this: My parents don't want to give me help (they say its this way.) When I ask if I can visit some type of doctor or get a checkup I'm treated with the no along with becuase response and doing any activities like walking back from school or doing exercise is not an option for me because they don't want me to go place's they don't know where I'm going ._.

How else am I supposed to talk reasonably with my parents if we can't actually talk about solutions I guess ._.

Just find a way to exercise and eat healthy, lots of fiber, water, veggies, lean meat, whole grains, etc... Don't trust any bullshit pills that doctors want to give you. Doctors are nothing more than glorified drug dealers these days who are not looking out for your best interest. Instead they are looking out for the interest of the pharmaceutical companies bottom line, and the kickbacks they get from pushing the drugs made by these companies. Exercise and a healthy diet is a panacea for just about every ailment that affects us in life.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
