Yea thats why i said Unmodded 360. Thought people would know what that meant, thanks for the info.

as long as you have the 2009 dashboard update which included divx/mpeg4 support
there's no support for MKV though as far as I know

and also, storage devices must be in FAT32, NTFS isnt supported ... too bad.

you have to have the .xvid codec downloaded from the marketplace after the 8955 Summer 2009 dashboard update.

Thanks guys, looks like it'll work, can i store them on the Xbox's HDD? because i have 27.5gb of bleach and just wanted to know if i could store it there instead of burning onto multiple discs.

or if your clever enough you can do the HDD hack and transfer your content to the 360 HDD slap it back on and viola.

there are various guides for this (it is safe) and wont get you banned. I really have no idea why Microsoft made there USB ports Read-only, or locked them to read-only

Bottom Line : Streaming is your best bet though
