Hacking Can an NTSC wii rip the .iso of a PAL disk?

Alright, so I've just recently discovered the game "The Last Story," and it really interests me. Even better, it's releasing in Europe on the 24th.

Problem? I live in America.

Although my NTSC wii cannot play PAL disks, could it at least pull the information off in order for me to play it in Configurable USB Loader?
--Also, using Priiloader I have my wii set to region free. Does this mean I could play straight off the disk?

Yes, you can play it straight off the disc if the Wii is set to region free.
Or you could copy the game to your external and play through usb loader.

Just keep in mind not all NTSC TVs (apparantly) can display PAL correctly. Most works fine if you set it video mode to "force ntsc".


edit: I just remembered that system menu 4.2+ blocks region free, so you cant play it from the disc channel afaik. You'll have to use neogamma or similar if you want to play from the disc.

Alright, thank you. Yeah I knew about the forcing to NTSC issue; but my only PAL game was downloaded instead of ripped so I wasn't sure if it was rippable.
