Hacking Can a 9.5 N3DS be downgraded to 9.2 and have rxTools installed?

Helping a friend downgrade his N3DS!

This tutorial tells us to get N3DS 9.2.0-20U zip file and to check that it has MD5: e5f40c3b155cfd12ef38be35d2e81d2e,

however, when we check the MD5, it comes up with MD5: ECA4BA9DF44B03748BB8AA9C42186B38C62C0D1A

Yes it can.

If the md5 is different then you have either downloaded the wrong file, or it's the right file but it got corrupted. You need to double check which file you want and re-download, then check the md5 again.

Unless it has been updated recently, the tutorial's hashes are incorrect as the packs have been updated since.

I believe the md5 in the tutorial hasn't been updated in a while. Try downloading it a few times and check it with the md5 on the site you downloaded it from, not the one from the tutorial here.
