I have a friend in the US I've started to chat with again but she seems to be under the impression that she also gets charged if I ring her (on either cell or home phone). Is this the case? (I'm using skype if it makes any difference). I dont think it would be the case but then it's America so that's just the kind of thing they would do, maybe? Anyone?

Only you should get charged, the only time I have ever seen both people get charged is if the person you are calling isn't in their own country (ie, roaming charge).
