Gaming Call of Duty: MW Xbox live problem

I don't get it. I played my wii. It work fine for internet because Nintendo didn't cut it off. Mostly other game does. Call of Duty is still alive. But Xbox 360 didn't. It said unable to connect Xbox Live.

I was like "What the f*** are you talking about? It log in for Xbox Live and you won't let me use it? F*** you, Microsoft."

Does Microsoft cut it off for Call of Duty: MW Xbox Live? If does, then why I didn't hear this news?

Every and all games on Xbox require Gold membership to play online.
This is common knowledge and iirc, MS also says this.

Cause of upkeeps of servers, services and other things MS can charge money for.
It's a company, not a charity.
