Honestly, there hasn't been a single online FPS since the release of MPH in 2006, which is kinda ashaming, but according to these guys:

    http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=107974

which took the information from the official Homepage Core will be the next game to include Online Play in a DS FPS [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] .

    EDIT:

    According to this quote:

it will feature various modes and even singlecard Downloadplay Support !

    Nice!
Been a while since a decent looking online-playable FPS has hit the DS (since Metroid Prime: Hunters, I believe).
Make sure to check out those screenshots on the official C.O.R.E. website.

    Can't wait for this! [IMG]

Finally, thought I had to wait for Quake Arena DS (if ID are still doing it).

"14 huge, shocking levels, discover different ways through - they are not linear, so they are always few routes to get through them".

Sounds nice, I thought Dementium was too linear. I reckon it'll be the most advance and ambitious DS title out there, just gotta hope that the controls and framerate work well and that the rest comes together well.

Thing is I see NOTHING about online play on the website, only that 4 players can with one copy of the game.

Eh, shouldn't really bother with shooters on DS. Although you gotta hand it to Metroid, that one was really original.

If Nintendo wants to go from being just the kiddie/old guy demographic it currently is, making seriously decent shooters is the way.

Teens don't want pet games, nor do they really want my dull wargames for the most part.

If they can grab attention in the shooter and MMO scene then can really say something for themselves.

How does that mean online play is confirmed? It just means that gamers all over the world, no matter where you're from, will enjoy the game.

Exactly, there's nothing to say there is, if there was I'm sure it would be mentioned.

Really surprised that MP:H, the most outdated FPS is the only to feature wifi play. Hopefully, this won't be infested with hackers, a la Metroid, and provide the first decent online experience for a DS FPS.

Finally some more FPS on the Nintendo DS. I'll look forward to C.O.R.E. and Moon.

Looks great! Definitely something I would look forwared to.

As I said before, the DS is a perfect handheld for FPS games, I am surprised that this advantage hasn't been widely taken. If they would officially port a few FPS classics or make some decent ones, it may even convert some PSP'ers(aiming with analogue is a pain in the ass.).

I won't be interested until Wifi is actually confirmed. However, it's good to see that there's more FPS for the DS. FPS is one of the genre DS is lacking at.
