Take it with a big grain of salt . but there is word that there is Game Script UWP up on the shop under another name . there was a person saying to msg them and they would send the link \ name . but if it was true am sure it would be all over the show like with retroarch with out dev mode

Scam, I reached out to well known members first before divulging personals but the lifers here don't know of them... the furthest I went with this individual wasn't first/second/third base. Those are fun, but when they asked for my personals it felt sketchy, and I walked.

Two different scenarios between Modded and Crump, I presume that's why Emma instructed to remove network connection?

EDIT : Do all UWP have automated certification? Does the process only begin once the app is first ran, and then connected to network?

I take it, UWP with automated certification needs first ran owner cert before it can run auto cert?

I checked my fw, and My Serie X is supposed to be exploitable (25398.4909). I disabled auto-updates just in case.

I'm not interested in xbox games piracy (anything is almost on pc lmao) but I am in homebrew and specifically a cheat engine one.

Two different scenarios between Modded and Crump, I presume that's why Emma instructed to remove network connection?

i think the remove network was so microsoft cant revoke access to gamescript . with Xbox apps expire if not on internet thing would need some one thats looked in to it . if its true would need to know how long can you use apps offline till need to be back online or if changing the date could fix it . or that will be the 1st homebrew app that fix that kinda thing

Yes, game script was removed from store. You along with a large census who are without required apps, I recommend staying offline... or not, it's truly your call because who knows what besides retail dev mode this systemOS kernel exploit will bring.

C. Restoring Games after Dumping

You may notice that your game might not start after successfully running prepare_gamedump.xml, and it will be stuck in an updating state.

1. Uninstall the game from the internal storage. The Xbox may appear to be stuck when attempting to uninstall the game, but be patient and if reboot until the game is gone from Internal Storage.

2. Copy the game over from USB External Storage to the Internal Storage via the Storage Devices option in Settings.

3. Do Collateral Damage/Game Script exploit. Copy license for game from USB flash drive to S:\Clip

4. Reboot Xbox, then start the game. It will get the game ready and then launch.

According to the documentation of the exploit, it’s a privilege escalation in most of the major Windows editions and it is used to hack Xbox to gain control of the systemOS VM, mostly to force activate developer mode.

It does not have the ability to interfere gameOS due to tight boot chain control, measurement and tight encryption, nor can it affect the updater because it doesn’t reach or hostOS and SP firmware at all.
