What do you think is a fair but decent price for video games in general no matter the console. Whether it'd be brand new or a used game, what prices do you think are worth it, whether you buy it online or even at a yard sale or swap meet etc.

No matter the console? It depends partially on the console, and then heavily on the individual title. Rarity and condition both play big roles in how much a game is worth, and there is absolutely no standard that covers absolutely every game for every console in existence.

General ranges, IMO:
DS:
used 5 to 15, new 10 to 20.
3DS:
used 8 to 20, new 10 to 25.
PS3:
used 10 to 20, new 10 to 30.
PS4:
used 20 to 35, new 30 to 55.

That's all assuming you're buying/selling privately (yard sale, flea market, etc), not retailer. And that's still going to be heavily influenced on the game. For the 3DS, Petz 3D I wouldn't even pay $0.50 for NEW, but if it was something I wanted (I already have it) Ocarina of Time could easily be $35+ USED.
