Now I am not saying Amazon .japan can't deliver and deliver damned fast (they do), but I am I think not going to be going for a round two ever again.
WTF it was just a goddamned blueray concert for Christ's sake.
I wanted the Hatsune Miku 39s Giving Day concert enough to actually buy it.
The price was crazy, but I was weak.
20 bucks for shipping a damned disk? But I gave in and ok'd it.
But it gets here, and they want 25 bucks duty too?
Fuck that.
Glad FedEx left a door hanger saying they had missed me. It gave me all day to stew and be disgusted. Long enough to realize 'get a grip, you are NOT paying 110 bucks for any damned blueray anything'.
So I called my credit card and killed the order.
Presto, no loss to me.
I am still suffering though, fucking Amazon.japan is good for spam email every second day. Lesson, don't use primary email any more for whimsical uses.
FedEx called the next day after the second attempt to deliver. It was easy resisting urge to scam the source and just pay the duty. Signatures n all that stuff eh. I don't mind downloading, but I do have limits
Told them, 'no that's not my package'. Well at that moment I was technically correct. I have killed the payment, so technically it was no longer my property.
Not my problem to figure out how to discern an email in Japanese either. They need to really work on that. If it is being sent to an non Japanese address, perhaps they could understand the customer is not able to read it either.
Dodged a bullet over all I guess.
Comically I find the blueray rip the next day
I would have preferred a real copy though.
But for 25 bucks retail like every other damn product thank you very much.
It's nice seeing it in decent quality finally, although there were some views from the low image quality download missing I wish had been retailed.
Darn rip though is juuuuuuust large enough in file size to not fit on a standard dvd.
