Ok I want to buy a new Android phone but don't know which one to get. Somewhere in the price range of £150 (£200 at a stretch).

I may end up getting this phone again

http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-P500-Optimus-Mobile-Phone/dp/B004G5Z050/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1325544208&sr=8-3

which I broke by jumping in the see (see my other thread haha). Thing is what is the best android phone for this price range? I would prefer one that could take micro SDHC cards and it MUST be on no contract because i am still on a 2 year contract with t-mobile and am currently using a £12 phone :( thanks.

That is just the Ideos. Though I can't find any UK pricing, using google's currency converter they Go for about $99AUD and £65
Or there is the HTC Wildfire

The HTC Wildfire is a smartphone developed by the HTC Corporation, that was announced on 17 May 2010[1] and released in Europe in June of the same year.[2] It is powered by a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor and runs the Android operating system, version 2.2. It includes an TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen and a 5-megapixel camera. Going for £169.99 on Amazon.

Try the Samsung Galaxy Ace. I currently own its predecessor the Galaxy Apollo and its a great little phone (though a bit limited) Its going for £180.99 on Amazon. The display quality on it is nicer than the Wildfire's (friend of mine has the phone and it doesn't look great imo) Runs Android 2.2, has a 5MP camera and LED flash. Nice little phone.

I think the Ideos is the best option considering the resistive touchscreen and is suited for all needs sorry about not having a definitive price. The galaxy ace is good little phone depending on what your going to use it for.

Well, Jusr recently i had the same problem... And I decided to buy Samsung Galaxy 551. It is android, it has physical keyboard, and it has all the function I needed. Besides, the price is awesome..
