I have a DSi XL and I am very pleased with it. Games look pretty good on it, not actually watched a video on it however I think I will be putting a video on SD card later and see what it's like on the bigger screens. The only bad thing about the DSi XL is that it's uncomfortable to hold at times, when I'm lying in bed and playing a game it is difficult to hold the console in 1 hand so I usually have to lay on my front and have it sat on the mattress, not really a big issue.

If you are worried about the firmware ask for a pre september console, I'm sure they will have 1 or 2 somewhere in the stock room. I'll be updating my DSi XL tomorrow once I have updated my AK2i.

my friend lend me his dsi xl and i already got a ds lite.. i just wanna know if i should upgrade to dsi xl or just wait for 3ds?the dsi xl make some game pixel look bad.. and if i do upgrade to dsi xl what kind of flashcart should i use?

    It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
