I guess the pre-release sales aren't going too well then? For fans of Van Halen this is a great deal, one that seems fake seeing that Activision want to charge MORE for games than what they are supposed to.

The offer ends on 31st October, and people will get both games 6 weeks after. Only open to US residents.

I will probably get both of one day but when I can get them from bargain bin. Shouldn't take too long for Van Halen [IMG] Still waiting for GH (or RB) Iron Maiden

If it's for US residents only then Activision can fuck themselves. That deal would have given me a reason to purchase the game, but I am not going to bother now.

I agree; I was gonna buy GH5 just to add the guitar to my Wall-o-Guitars collection, but now that I find out that only Americans get this deal makes me want to spit on Craptivision.

I bet its a real shitter for those Canadians and Mexicans who live right next to a US city only to not be able to get what their neighbours can have.

I understand limiting the deal to a region but to just one country isn't right.

Oh well I'm sure you folk can find a way to get this for "free" anyway and Activision deserves it seeing the shit they've done this year.

I guess they figure the US has the largest buyer base of the game, thus they will limit it to just America which is freaking dumb considering it sells pretty well elsewhere. Maybe if they just released the songs as DLC instead of making players pay for full games with songs that they might not want, they would have more success, Rock Band is so much better in this regard since they aren't milking the hell out of players for it.
