Are you running homebrew from an nsp? Run using title override (holding R while starting a game is the default config) instead, and you'll get atmosphere's temporary fix to make buttons work.

Update your homebrews as new versions are released to make sure you're set for the future.

Dude, every hb app has to be recompiled.
That was mentioned everywhere regarding 9.0.0 and atmosphere :/
Seems like you're screwed for now.
Sry pal, guess you'll have to wait for recompiled versions :)

Existing homebrew should still work on properly configured atmosphere, as it has a temporary workaround in the latest version. Temporary as in it will be removed in future versions, so homebrew still needs to be recompiled for future, but it should work now if things are set up right.

If not the nsp thing, someone else had this problem after installing blawar's app that fucks with people's configuration.

Update Atmosphere "0.10.2"
"to fix compatibility with old homebrew."

Enable line on file "system_settings.ini" in folder "atmosphere/config_templates"
Remove ";" in file option to active:
"enable_deprecated_hid_mitm = u8!0x1"
"0 = Do not enable, 1 = Enable."

Example:
[eupld]
upload_enabled = u8!0x0

[ro]
ease_nro_restriction = u8!0x0

[atmosphere]
fatal_auto_reboot_interval = u64!0x0
power_menu_reboot_function = str!payload
dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1
dmnt_always_save_cheat_toggles = u8!0x0
enable_hbl_bis_write = u8!0x0
enable_hbl_cal_read = u8!0x0
fsmitm_redirect_saves_to_sd = u8!0x0
enable_deprecated_hid_mitm = u8!0x1

Copy file to "atmosphere/config"
Profit

I tried this here and it does not work for me. My homebrew menu runs in applet mode and I have also tried running it through a game (launching game holding R). The App I'm trying is VBA next, last updated a year ago. I don't like Retroarch version because the fast forward and rewind options don't work as well as the standalone app. Also tried a clean install of atmosphere 10.2.

Have you restart ?
But this work, but maybe not for all homebrews
For Retroarch you have to use a forwarders nsp for best stability

Thanks for the reply. It seems to only be a problem with VBA Next and a few older HB apps. Will just use Retroarch with mGBA core. Apparently the fast forward problem and rewind problem was linked to the threaded video option.

Sorry to enter another one´s thread, but can you please share your config file?
If anyone else read this and have this working please help!
I can´t made this to work no matter what I did... it was working on Atmos 10.2, I´ve updated to 10.5 and even downgrade didnt´fix this. Already tried the mitm line and no success.
Thanks!

I've had this problem for a year, like a text editor or file browser, I cannot use the buttons at all. Only the touch screen.
