Anyone have any ideas on how to prepare burgers before putting it over the barbeque?

It's a pain having to do it and then once they're on the barbeque they fall apart completely.
I just want tips from all the pros at grilling food.

You could put an egg in with the hamburger, or bread crumbs. I don't suggest breadcrumbs, it tastes bad

Make sure you pack them well. I season mine with olive oil, garlic powder and ground pepper.

It's also good to add worcestershire (sp?) sauce.

They're falling apart because you are not packing them well enough.

Well, I use that cylindrical pressing thing to make the burgers, maybe I don't press them hard enough? Oh well...

Make sure you are putting oil on either the burgers or the grill.

The more stuff you put in the meat the less it will hold together. Are they falling apart by themselves, or do they just stick to the grill too much? Also, what PastaPizza said.

Umm, it wouldn't taste too good. Cumin is used in Kabobs. It's a type of spice, but it taste very good. You should try a Persian Kabob with "Zira" (???? - Persian for Cumin) some times.

Eggs works, but as was mentioned, the more stuff you add the more likely they are to come apart.

A suggestion, use something like a wire mesh screen, something like a splatter shield to place the burgers on. Makes it easier to get your lifter under the patty.

I put oil on the grill. Mazola vegetable oil to be exact. The problem is when I flip the burger.

Mix in a packet of Lipton onion soup. Add a dash Worcestershire sauce and paprika/chili powder. Mix and mould burgers and for God's sake preheat your grill so you don't end up with a sloppy mess dripping through the grates.
