'Bully: Anniversary Edition' ported to the PS Vita

bully.png

The PS Vita welcomes yet another port from Rinnegatamante and TheFlow0 in its library. After GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas, the modders have announced that they have got Bully: Anniversary Edition working on Sony's handheld. As with GTA San Andreas, the Bully port is based on the Android version of the game and to get it working on your PS Vita, you will need to have your own copy of the game.

As the modders explain in the official GitHub release, the port works by loading the official Android ARMv7 executable in memory, resolving its imports with native functions and patching it in order to properly run. They also note that the game is likely to crash after a long gameplay session since the official game does not free unused textures given that the smartphones on which the Android version works have more RAM than the PS Vita.

You can find a full installation guide for Bully: Anniversary Edition on the PS Vita in the GitHub page linked below.

one homebrew devs porting rockstar stuff right left centre.

Rockstar with 1000's of devs too busy porting GTA V to a every new console. got not time for GTA 6.

At least GTA Online is getting a lot of love. It's probably the reason why we never heard of VI yet and why everyone is mad at it, but the content additions are really good. (The new heist and everything finally gives players a chance to get millions quickly).

lots of people dont play gta online has gtaV has released on the damn ps3 and we are still on the same gta game on ps5, seriously people would prefer some hd remasters of vice city/san andreas/bully or original red dead over another gta V port, specialy when gtav runs through backwards compat on both ps5 and xbsx so they dont need to make a native port at all.

Cool. Never played this game before. Was it good at all?
It is really good. Fells like GTA on school like people say a lot, but the "GTA" here stands for San Andreas and not 5, and that's a good thing for some players.

You are way less free than GTA, specially on beginning, but the story is cool, the progression is cool, there are collectibles, traditional-style bosses, those elements are totally different than GTA, so this makes the experience unique, and "unique" here is quile litteral, because sadly Rockstar never developed this franchise further.

This version is both better as worse as they add content but also remove content. Really not much reason to play this if you already have the Wii version.

Well, it's rockstar the one losing. Will gladly use these ports and not pay a dime, already have these on steam, the novelty is the handheld. Thanks to TheFloW & Rinnegatamante, made my afternoons better. Fuck the ESRB

All those crazy Android ports to the Vita keep reminding me that there's VCMI for Android, but no one's ported that to the Vita... A portable Heroes of Might & Magic 3 would probably ruin my life, but it'd be wonderful to have regardless, especially since that interface is pretty much built for a touchscreen. Even that gutted HoMM3 HD port would've been wonderful on the go.

Damn, now I want to play HoMM3.

Oh, well, one of these days, maybe.

This game is my son's favorite. Could this mean that in a future it could be ported to the Nintendo Switch? He plays it on Switchroot but it would be nice to have it as a direct homebrew on Atmos.
