Bug or Intentional?

I took a a good-ish look and couldn't find a similar thread,

When you go to a user profile and click find member''s topics or find member;s posts and it takes you to a "denied" sort of page. Is this intentional or an over sight?

The site's search engine is offline for the time being to take some strain off the server which the current influx of users is producing.

Ah shoot! I already posted my version of this question with a title that actually fit the subject. Argh.
