Hey guys, I just found this -

Behringer_UCA_202.jpg

Behringer UCA202 Ultra-low latency 2 in/2 out USB Audio Interface with Digital Output

In layman's terms, it's an external sound card, when plugged into USB can convert a phono output into a TOSLINK/OPTICAL output.

So what I was thinking- can I use this on the Wii?

The back of the packaging says 'no setup or drivers needed', but on windows 7, it seemed to need to install a few drivers before working...

No, this will not work, the wii can't use things like that, maybe with a homebrew driver, but this is nearly impossible.

Well... if I connect it to my PC, and use the inputs.

What exactly did you want to use this for with your Wii? Did you just want to convert the phono to digital audio? This device will not work if you connected it to a Wii. There is no use for it to be connected to a Wii.
