Hacking Suggestion Brought second hand Switch 4.1.0 with linked Nintendo Account. Should I unlink it?

Hello just picked up a cheap second hand Switch tablet on Ebay. The software version showed 4.1.0 but now it says update ready. It has not been connected to Wifi yet.

One of the profiles on the Switch looks linked to a Nintendo account. Can I click unlink without connecting the wifi. The console also has many cartridge games installed.
Should I leave it as it is? or reset to factory settings and make a NAND backup. I wanted to use this Switch for either lakka or ReiNX CFW.

Just do a factory reset if you dont need it. It will delete the ready update too.

Should I unlink the nintendo profile before I factory reset? I would feel guilty if I got the poor guys switch account locked to this Switch if i got banned lol.

Any idea if i need wi-fi to unlink a nintendo ID account?

The factory reset unlinks the account. Just do that and you are golden.

Done thank you guys. Looks like I will keep it at 4.1.0 for now too.
