Hi. I have a Wii which has got a broken "retaining flap" on the connector on the DVD drive where the data ribbon cable is plugged in. To be clear, I mean the flap being manipulated in these two photos from https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Repairing+Nintendo+Wii+Drive+Board+Fuses/4029 step 22:
and
I've seen suggestions before of putting some paper or card in place and taping it down, but I'm having trouble getting that to work consistently and for long periods.
Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the flap? Has anyone had any luck getting one (from some other piece of electronics) to fit, or are there lots of different variants and you need to get the exact same one? The ribbon cable in question is 17.5mm wide.
