Ermm my "R" Button is non-functional and I don't know why. I've had my DS Lite for a couple of months now and it's been fine, and now it doesn't work. So yeah.. Anyone know of a way to fix this?

your warranty should still be good with nintendo...so call them up and send your ds. it should take about 2 weeks

Thats ok, as long as your serial is still there on the back of your ds it is all good. Just call up Nintendo they will help you out.

This is UNOFFICAL advice so if it breaks don't blame me
When that happened I will put my mouth to the L (or R) button and blow!
It usually works but Nintendo can fix it to if you warranty is still good
    so try nintendo first

Is there an alternative way to do it then sending it to Nintendo because by the time they send it back I'll be gone for two months on Vacation in Hong Kong.

OMG THE BLOWING METHOD WORKED!!! But the R button will only work after I press it several times.

im just curious - was it stuck when it was broken, or just non-responsive?

That's an act worthy of a dismissal post haste. Either that or no pay for the next six months. My butler did something similar to me, actually, he washed my money one night and one of the 1000 euro notes was slightly damp the following morning so I banished him to the dungeon for three years. Tallyho old boy!

lol.. poor butler got banished eh?

But yes. Nintendo doesn't even need your receit.. they just look at your serial number on the back of your DS. That's all they need. [IMG]

my r button goes out every once in a while. i got advice on another forum to shake the ds while clciking the button about 100 times. works every time.

it seems to go out every month and a half or so.
