I bought a PS3 with a broken disc drive from a friend today. It's a fat 160 GB model. The disc drive won't accept a game and if you turn it on the blue light is off, but if you hit the eject button the blue light comes on but nothing really happens. So I busted it open and I noticed that when you hit the eject button the laser moves back about an inch then goes forward to it's neutral position and makes 2 quick beep noises. That's pretty much all I know, I'd appreciate any help but I don't have much faith that it will ever work again.
