Hacking Bricked M3 Lite?

I just got my M3 Lite in the mail from gameyeeeah, and when I put a blank MicroSD with the newest firmware upgrade file (updagcsd.e35) in the root of the card, I just get a black screen. Can someone help me?

Thank you so much! I reformatted my MicroSD to FAT16 and the update worked!
