Brick? Black screen and blue led lights up perfectly

Hello, I found my old 3ds xl after years without using, I entered the eshop and I found that I was banned (God knows what I did at the time when I played pokémon).

I wanted to unban myself, I got it with easymode9 because when I entered the friends list I could access but when I entered the eshop to download something (specifically the pokémon bank) I got another error that I guess was something from the Nintendo Network ID banned also.

I had Luma installed and everything worked perfectly but it wasn't updated. I had the tremendous idea to unhack it and hack it with some updated method and ...... Ta-da!

I managed to unhack it with godmode but now when I turn on the console the blue led stays on and the screens are completely black. I've tried to access the luma menu and nothing, also to turn on the console without the SD and the same thing happens, black screen.

I found this video and it says that it happens when you unbrick the console when it was previously bricked or something like that, which I remember happened to me some time ago too but I need an R4 and another DS, I don't have either of them.

Does anyone know anything? Thank you very much in advance.

You could try the following:

1. Remove the battery
2. Press the power button a couple of times
3. Plug in the power adapter. Try turning it on.
4. Remove the power adapter
5. Insert the battery, plug the adapter in
6. Try to power the console on again. If it works, you’re good, otherwise I’d try the same again also with removing the SD card.

I try what you say and, without the battery and with the power adapter, the console no turn it on. And dont work me without and with the SD, the console do the same, led blue with black screens. I'm gonna try the link you post me, thanks you and sorry for my english

On the link are a few troubleshooting steps. If the system still dont boot up properly, you need to follow the CTRTransfer guide.

And if after the CTRTransfer the system still doesnt boot up, then there would be a last chance with a stronger CTRTransfer with Decrypt9 (Tutorial is much longer), wich goes deeper in the system. https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-godmode9-scripts-megathread.482150/post-8550543

The CTRTransfer with Decrypt 9 dont work bro, put all the files in the SD and try to turn on with pressing the START and the screen still black with only the blue led. In the discord they say me i need another 3DS with a specific R4, I dont have neither. Dont know what i can do, need help

Anyway, If you can't access Luma3DS and GodMode9 when the sd card is either inserted or not, then you only have one option and that's getting an NTRBoot compatible flashcart so you can access homebrew..

The second 3DS is for sure for need to flash the ntrboot to the flashcard. Alternativ would be a flashcard wich comes preinstalled with it, but also with higher price. Or you need someone who can help out with his 3ds.

Seriously, at this point I can't understand it anymore. There are literally hundreds of warnings; Everywhere. It is – in my opinion – impossible to find instructions for uninstalling B9S without also finding the warnings.

I've never been fond of CFW removal (the reasons are always the same: "Want to sell it without mentioning previous modding…", "A fresh start…", "Something didn't work, so I decided to delete everything – including all troubleshooting tools!") in the first place and the possibility of bricking a console should be reason enough to avoid it. But since The Guide added checks for about anything that could possibly go wrong, it is pretty safe following the instructions… because they clearly state when to NOT proceed.

GodMode9 warns with a red screen before unlocking Lv.3 permissions.

There is no other (practical) way than ntrboot. You won't need specifically another 3DS. Five minutes access to any older DS (or a 2|3DS) system should work as well for flashing the ntrboot exploit onto a compatible R4 (which is certainly cheaper than just getting another 3DS).
