The Switch isn't waterproof, unlike the iPhone where a pet can safely take a dump on your phone.

FFS this is as bad as DRM and the "walled garden" eshop, Nintendo still trying to control what you do with your OWN property that you OWN. YOU can let your pet piss on your Switch if YOU want to.

Can confirm... I had a previous cat in my life piss in a box, and I didn't know it... It got all inside my Sega Genesis and when I opened it up to clean it (probably several months later) it was a lost cause... The corrosion damage was irreversible.

reminded me how back in 2016 my father's ex girlfriend used to leave documents in a plastic bag on the floor, important documents that she had to present to the hospital, one day a cat jumped in and gave birth while laying on top of the documents, it was all yellow and unreadable

This post will certainly be in my future on GBATemp: "Desperate and need some help-I don't have any pets and definitely don't have any friends, but I let my baby play with my Switch and somehow it was magically updated. Now all I see is a black screen whenever I boot up. I could use some help here. PS: I'm willing to put this baby up on eBay to make sure this will never happen again."
