I don't know what's up with the name, but very interesting art style. It looks bad in the upscaled screenshots but will probably look great on the 3DS.

yeah... thats always a problem when you use 3D models on pre-rendered backgrounds....
I never liked that way of making video games... feels cheap. That's probably why I don't like how most of the ps1 games looks

maybe they can blur a little the 3D models in order to blend it better with the background

still... the game looks really good
I like how the castle that is in the overworld pic looks exactly like the one from super mario bros
