Sounds like a typical code dump.

Just push and hold the power button on the Wii to turn it off.

Then turn the Wii back on.

Go back and try that step again.

This just happens sometimes. You're most likely not bricked.

Try a different tool to restore the Trucha bug.

    Use the latest dop-IOS MOD:
    http://www.mediafire.com/?x1mjk1anrgf

And follow the instructions for "Install an IOS that accepts fakesigning":

Einstein said, "Insanity is doing the same thing in the same way and expecting a different outcome."

Use dop-IOS MOD instead of TBR.

Or use Trucha Bug Restorer MOD

Works fine for me when the original one code dumps.

try installing rev 14 of ios249 (what u referred to as rev 15 cios38), this should solve ur problems (unless of course u really do have a new chipset)

Nah.. installing a Cios 249 r14/249 r15 overwrites the other. Conculsion: You got the new D3-2 Dvd-Drive. What now? You can play via USB!!, or if you REALLY want via dvd, switch dvd drive (need to open wii etc). Goodluck.

it overwrites the ios in slot 249 with rev 14, so do not uninstall ios249

ok, calm down, your typing 90% gibberish.

just grab a USB HDD, you'll never be able to switch a DVD drive out if you cant even handle softmodding.

    alright, i believe you.
well then, buy an older dvd drive off ebay or something and switch em out.
you can use any dvd drive you want, as long as its for the wii
