Plausable I guess. Disney did previously get a lot of cross over rights in night at the museum and roger rabbit. Don't know how good the actual movie would be though...
I am Frog Boy and I approve of this message.
Is it going to be mega man-ish? *see old mega man ova*
Gonna be cool for sure.
Would actually go to the movies to see Bowser talking to Pete
While I was originally skeptical about this movie when I saw the early promo material at D23, this shot (if real) gives it such a huge potential for awesomeness that I cannot wait.
Though the movie was originally marketed as being done in a pixel artform and this is obviously modern CG... makes me worry about the authenticity. Likewise it makes me worry that they abandoned the 8-bit style they originally intended to use.
I can't really see this being genuine. It just doesn't seem like something Disney would do to me.
...hmm. Charles Martinet needs to be in the movie.
also, too bad it's Disney. I would have wanted a Pixar+Studio Ghibli crossover more. Totoro in Toy Story 3 was such a welcome treat.
it should be M Bison not Zangief. but i think there just doing that for tall fat or skinny people or something.
Cool. Two video game characters having parts in a movie that consist of no talking and probably less than 30 seconds of air time is now considered news.
Can Disney actually do this without Nintendo's and Capcom's permission to use their characters in this movie?
Since no one brought it up (and neither did the article for some reason), the one to the left of Bowser is Dr. Wily.
i did not see wily there i'm losing it...
But what if they did get permission?
This, will most certainly, be interesting.
How about some Video game character main roles, put Sonic in this too and Mario.
Damn, Disney must shit money if they can whip out that much cash for all of those copyrights.
That's what I've been thinking all along, getting Sonic and Mario characters in their movie must have cost major $$$$$$$$$$$$$.
I lol at the antagonist being from a FPS.
What? why would it be any different from a Disney based game, such as Epic Mickey or Kingdom Hearts being made fro a Nintendo console? Nintendo Obviously have a good relationship with Disney. This sort of project can only benefit all parties involved.
I hope these are more than just simple cameos...
I wouldn't mind them being main or supporting characters actually having them in the main and supporting cast would draw in kids and adults alike and Disney can profit from box office sales not to mention BD sales in Japan and the US.
