Bought accidentally a switch account with Mario kart, can I get banned ?

Hey, I bought by accident on difmark a Mario kart Account. Can I get banned for using it and playing online ?

edit: I did some research. People used for years accounts from difmark on their switch and never got banned and never lost access to that account. Sadly I can’t share the bought game for my sister since the seller is not ready to deactivate the account from primary on his console. Rip money. Can’t refund

Update: I can’t use any online feature anymore on my console. I get a error saying that I can’t use this console online anymore because it got closed my Nintendo.

I never used any cfw etc. I ordered a mig switch which arrived recently but I didn’t used it because I was waiting for my ordered big Sd card. So I never inserted the mig…

Does this error I get, mean i am banned ? For using a bought account ?

Can you take a screenshot of the error you're getting?
If you got something like: "The use of online services on this console is currently restricted by Nintendo.", your console is now banned.

2124-4508 is the error code.

This error code indicates the Nintendo Switch console you are using has been permanently banned from connecting online due to a breach of the user agreements.
A breach of user agreements may include, but is not limited to, activities such as:

• Fraudulent or unauthorized transactions
• Violation of the Code of Conduct

Here it's mentioned that it's normal Switch ban.

Every Switch comes with a certificate much like cartridges so when Nintendo bans a console, they ban that certificate. To be exact, they're restricting that console from using the "dauth" server which handles eShop content, online play, and as of late September game updates as well. The system firmware is the only item obtained through the "atum" server. The error code is either 2124-4007 or 2124-4508 (potentially 2124-4517) for eShop and online play while 2181-4008 is for updating a game.

Unfortunately, there's nothing much you can do about it. Buying and linking to an account that has been used for illegal activities usually lead to console ban as well.
Sucks that you can't get a refund for the account and anything extra for the console that got banned in the process.

You have a couple of options:

• Sell your banned Switch as such and buy yourself a new one.
• (Recommended) Keep your banned Switch and install a modchip so that you can get some use of it.
• If you have an unpatched Switch as well, you can update the games you're playing by matching a game version between two consoles locally. Even better if you have a MIG Switch or similar to have more games on one cartridge (cycling through them might be a bit tedious unless you have a v2 with a button).

Thanks a lot.
I want to play Mario kart 8 with my sister online. So we sell our switch and buy a new one.

And later when the new switch is out, we sell our switches again to buy the new one and maybe we buy a banned switch again for offline games.

Edit: wait the last part makes no sense. We can just keep our switch and pay for modchips and then they can get banned, we don’t care. It’s the same than selling the console and buying banned ones

You can try to set up lan-play at http://lan-play.com/install-switch. I’m trying to set it up, but I think I need to open port 11451 on my firewall. I too have a banned switch and am trying to play MK8 with some friends.
