Hacking bought a new nintendo 3ds XL. What can I do with it?

Hello everyone,

Today I bought a new nintendo 3ds XL and it has the version 9.9.0-26U. I was wondering if there is any possible way to obtain homebrew with that version. I searched online, but couldn't find anything related to the new 3ds xl. I also check the wiki here as well.

You can downgrade from 9.9 down to 9.2, then either install Menuhax or arm9loaderhax. If you're new to 3DS, I recommend arm9loaderhax to prevent spoiling the stock like boot that it offers. If you already have a 3DS, you can settle for Menuhax, but still can go for arm9loaderhax.
Menuhax is a chain of hacks used to start the CFW, and has a extended boot time and high fail rate.
A9LH matches a stock boot, so 100% boot rate and similar stock boot time.

If you mean after installing arm9loaderhax, then yes, you just have to have the arm9loaderhax.bin file and the /luma folder on the other SD card.

If you want to completely move to a new SD card, just copy all the files over from the old one to the new one.

A9LH needs an SD Card to work.
Luma3DS if ran through menuhax needs an SD Card also.
The difference is that without an SD Card with A9LH your 3ds doesn't even boot and with menuhax it boots to the sysFW without any mods.

Just a small note: if you use a sd card over 32GB you will need to force format it to FAT32. Use GUIformat.exe (google it).
