I got it used from some kid who probably sold his Wii for $10 CAD or $7 US, controller in great condition and works perfect.

I'm surprised how good this controller is compared to an official GameCube controller.

Yes, it feels cheaper and lighter and does not have rumble and the triggers are not analog but overall for $10 (exception price) plugged into a Wii Remote and works for both Gamecube and Wii games this was a steal.

I don't need a GameCube adapter (additional cost), it works with GameCube, Wii and Wii U games (that support classic controller) and I'm basically wireless (attached to a Wii Remote).

If I want it to feel a bit more premium, I can just open it up and glue some wheel weight to it.

Still a really good and overlooked alternative to official GameCube controller if not playing competitive Smash.
