Gearbox Software has just revealed the "Game of the Year Edition" of Borderlands via Twitter, announcing the re-release for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 12. The package will include all four DLC add-ons, plus a foldout map of the game's territories. The GOTY Edition will be priced at $60 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and $50 for PC.

Today's announcement also seems to confirm that the "Borderlands GOTY Official Strategy Guide" is real. The guide popped up last month in a GameStop listing (but has since been removed from the retailer's site).[/p]

Glad I brought the whole game & DLC during steam sale. So much cheaper.

this one comes with the 4th DLC [IMG]

meh either way you saved a load of cash

also im quite pissed at the fact that the DLC doesn't come contained in disc, as in they give you download codes for 360/PS3 and you have to get them from there. Dunno bought you guys but i prefer an actually copy of things rather than a digital download; i mean it being a GOTY edition [IMG]

Fallout 3 GOTY had the all DLC in disc for PS3, and as for 360 there was that nice separate install disc.

this way used copies don't get all of the things, only new copies

Well, I'm glad I didn't buy Borderlands. I was gonna buy it last week, but decided against. I'll get this when it comes out.
