I just wanted to make sure if there are any risks to installing bootmii on my wii. I have menu 4.2U and a serial LU61. Is it safe?

The only way it will brick your Wii is if it loses power during installation

It´s safe and it´s even safer as Nintendo´s own code to update boot2 [IMG].
With a LU61 Wii chances are anyway high you can´t install bootmii in boot2.
