Yes you can still brick the Wii.
BootMii lets you fix 99% of bricks easily.
Install BootMii to Boot2 "if you're is a older one" you can install it as a IOS but that is far from it being as safe as it being installed on boot2.
Then use BootMii to make a NAND back up after that you can fix your Wii from a brick very easily.

There's a slim to no chance of bricking the Wii..
At least I never heard of anyone bricking the Wii from the HackMii installer.

There are options like Uninstall HomeBrew Channel dont do that.

Just install BootMii to Boot2 and you should be better than fine..

As in any flashing to the wii nand it’s dangerous but you have to decide
Wither the benefit out ways the dangers.

What I will say is out of the thousands that have flashed to boot2 probably 99.5 %
Of them never have a problem, BUT there is always a chance it could go wrong that 0.5 %

I remember when I installed bootmii, and yes I was pooin’ my pants

But I took the chance and well there you go. Life is all about risks

If you are a fraid to install Bootmii, get an Infectus chip and use the NAND backuper.
But then you have a risk of FRYING your wii instead of bricking it.
