Hacking BootMii, reinstalled Systemmenu 4.0 still brick

Just as it says in the title. I bricked my Wii but I managed to get into BootMii and get the Homebrew Channel.

From there, I reinstalled the Systemmenu 4.0 but am still getting no luck getting into the System menu.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you make a NAND backup with bootmii beforehand? What did you do to brick it? Reinstalling the system menu isn't how to fix every kind of brick.

maybe you have a banner brick, or there is no ios 60
