have you tried both beta1 and beta2 shouldn't really make a difference cause i haven't had a problem out of neither. or you could try a different sd card

    Hmm, Yea its 2GB
    Ok
I used a Kingston 2gb SD Card and it stopped
Used a MICROSD 2gb Kingston card with the SD adapter, backup went super fast, and didnt stop

There both like the same brand
    what is wrong?

Were they both blank and formatted? I found I had the best results when backing up on a freshly formatted card with only the bootmi files on it.

Edit : Yes found the solution
formatted the SD kingston to FAT
and now it backups in less then 5 minutes
    works great!
no need to spend money on another card guys
    just change formatting type

By "FAT" I assume you mean "FAT 16" as opposed to "FAT 32"? If you are using Windows and told it to format "FAT" then it's "FAT 16". I'm just curious which FAT you used since my BootMii wont backup anything at all...

On my Windows it says FAT(Default)
So yes I am assuming it is FAT16
