yeah, so if you mess up your Wii someday you can restore the damaged nand with the nand backup you are doing right now

Be sure to keep nand.bin and keys.bin in a safe place once it's done.

Be sure to make a regular backup. Restoring a backup restores everything, this also includes all your save games!
