Hi,

I was trying to update to the latest FW (9.0.0) with Choidujour (my very first try updating this way).
After a while it seemd the process was not doing anything so I forced the console off then restarted (using the SX OS menu & dongle). May be the process was not complete, I don't know.
I set the autorcm mode on and proceeded to boot (no emunaand setup on the console).

All I am getting is a black screen.

Unable to boot anymore. Anyway can I start the whole process again directly from the SX OS boot menu or in any other way?
Thanks.

Guess you have to update your sd-files to latest atmosphere (or sx beta which seems to support 9.0 now as well).

EDIT: Did the update process stuck after 100% flash indicator or before?

I had the choixdujour menu to reboot or install at the bottom of the screen but none were doing anything (may the upgrade proces was still ongoing).
I thought it had completed.
I recall some line saying something like 0 out of 6 ...I thought this was stuck since it was not moving, hence my forcing the reboot.

Well seems smthg obviously went wrong. Imho you have two possibilities:

1. restore an existing nand backkup (from your console)
2. use raj's guide https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...nofficially-without-burning-any-fuses.507461/

From the SX OS boot menu I have the restore Nand option... Should I first upload the backup folder I have (it includes a folder with 8 characters that holds a restore folder and one BOOT0 + one BOOT1 + 1 rawnand.bin files) to the usd card or should I go to step 2 already ?
Gonna have to leave in a few minutes as I am coaching a soccer team of teenagers but I will be back later on today. Thanks for your help.

So are you of meant to have already backuped NAND first or can it still be dumped and restored now will it fix this problem? Because I don’t have nand backed up at this point

What i did was really simple.

1 I extracted the Atmosphere files.
2 Put all the files in sd card folder on the root of your sd card
3 Use payload that is provided to boot switch into Atmosphere
4 Start choidujour and finish the firmware update (its only going to do the last steps)
5 reboot your switch and your good to go

Do you have a link to share for that atmosphere thingy and a tuto if this is not self explanatory ?
If never done before, the best advice would probably be to use Kosmos (can not post link, so first link on google when searching "kosmos swich"

Apparently you don’t need to do those steps with Atmosphere to update sxos 9.0 firmware, just keep 2.8beta on your sd card install 9.0 firmware through ChoiDujournx 1.0.2 reboot put 2.9beta on your sd card delete your themes from
sxos/titles... boot back up, should be all ok.

Edit: I have just tested this and works fine the only issue themes now need exfes patches?

Workaround>cancel your lock screen theme in nxthemes installer and everything else works fine.

So do I need to take off the SXOS boot . Dol file off my sd card first before I do this? Also I can only start the switch through the SXOS dongle which takes me to the SXOS menu
