[IMG] Well, I tried renaming DSOrganize.nds to moonshell.nds.

I tried to boot it from the main menu, and it wouldn't boot up anything.

So... Anyone know the exact way on how to make it boot from the main menu? (I'm thinking about renaming the DSO folder into the moonshl folder, but I'll wait for confirmation instead)

    [IMG] I could've sworn Moonshell was moonshell.nds

    I don't have Moonshell on my R4 anymore.. So I wouldn't know.

    Yeah, it's definitely _DS_MSHL.NDS.

So if I delete Moonshell from my R4 and rename my DSO folder to _DS_MSHL.NDS., I can boot it using the second icon, just like I would for Moonshell? [IMG]

Alright, I'll try it out later.

    Thanks, Chuck.

Just rename the DSorganize.nds to _DS_MSHL.nds and that should allow you to boot from the second icon.

Moonshell is great, even though I don't use it a lot. Do you know if DSO can play DPG files?

rename it to default.nds an it'll start upon boot up. I got this information from the R4 Team directly when I asked them myself via E-mail.

LostRacer: DSOrganize will never be capable of running dpg files of any kind, cause DM said so:
So find someone to write a plugin for you, write it yourself or forget about it.

Upon boot up of the R4? I'd never do that. [IMG]

    Another question... What's the R4 Team's E-Mail address?

How do you get out though? Soft reset doesn't work on homebrew. I think I heard someone talk about a 'Quit' plugin for DSO a few threads (weeks? months?) back, but I can't seem to find that thread.

all of this info was available on the R4 forums before they went away..I haven't seen anything regarding DSO and softreset. I've always just turned it off.

Dude... rename it to default.nds (or just "default" if your Extensions are hidden in windows) and place it in the root of your card (maybe the "default" must be uppercase, but I'm pretty sure just default should work.

    Let's see... their e-mail is..... tech@r4ds.com

to skip the booting of the default.nds just hold B upon startup

Wow...thanks for all the info guys! Although I don't think I want it RIGHT at start-up, it's still nice to have that option.

You can also rename a game to Moonshell. I did that with Bleach 2 for a while, then put Moonshell back on once I got more music and stuff. It's cool though. [IMG]

It even works for games?! Wow, that's incredible... I can't believe I never figured this out. -___-' So for games, it's just renaming the ROM in the DS Game folder to the moonshell launch posted in the first page?
