Region free by the looks of things.

Some new IP in FPS country (we had Deus ex a little while back and we are getting a new shooting franchise title (or one from developers known for them) just about every week until Christmas) has appeared in the form of Bodycount which is an FPS leaning towards the serious sam/bulletstorm side of things with the developers largely being composed of those that made the well liked "Black" back in 2006 and an emphasis on destructable environments. Co-optimus has it down as 2 player online only co-op.

Amazon description

The gun, reloaded The core Bodycount experience is all about the bullet and its impact on the game world.
Rip it up! Amplifying the core gunplay experience, Bodycount?s environment shredding technology lets players stamp their own unique footprint of destruction on the world, with unparalleled density and detail of shreddable elements.
Every bullet counts, every body counts Players put together combat chains, skill kills and gather Intel from dead enemies to earn and unlock abilities to wreak havoc on the battlefield.
Intense Arcade Firefights Combining best-in-class gun play, chain and skill kills and a class based enemy AI who will work together to hunt down the player, Bodycount?s core gameplay comes alive in exhilarating and intense firefights.
Hunt The Target Ensnared by ?The Network?, players become a powerful combat asset green-lighted to eliminate targets with extreme prejudice.

Bodycount reboots the First Person Shooter with a single-minded focus on delivering best-in-class gunplay. Gamers will experience the intense satisfaction of spectacular close-quarters combat in a shreddable world as players and opponents tear through cover to execute explosive kills. The first game from Codemasters Guildford Studio, Bodycount is being developed using the EGO Game Technology Platform, an evolution of the award-winning EGO engine. Ensnared in a clandestine global power struggle that rages under the cover of conventional war zones in Africa and Asia, players must eliminate a relentlessly evil enemy known only as ‘The Target’ on behalf of the ‘Network’. After being dropped into chaotic areas of operations, gamers deploy a mouth-watering selection of contemporary firearms to tear through environments and enemies, chaining kills and earning power ups. Complimented by co-operative and multiplayer modes, Bodycount will set new standards for intense, outrageous arcade action and put the fun back into the FPS.

Video A trailer but has some gameplay.

Looks interesting, odd that I've never heard of it prior to today. I like Unique FPS, as Half Life and Crysis have shown me.

Yeah I seem to be getting less and less interested by Rage as the days go on so it then seems to be left to Dead Island and this. I do however have Deus ex to finish before that and that for me is everything and more.

This game... BUY IT! It's the spiritual Successor to one of the greatest FPS of all time, Black (PS2). That game featured an awesome destructible environment system aswell. Btw, ITT'S DAMN HARD EVEN ON NORMAL! You guy's try this and lemme know if it's hard or not [IMG]. I want this game so bad. I'll have to wait atleast 4-5 month's for a PS3 (I'm saving up for it)

Interesting- the last few times we have had new waves there have been two or three games with one earlier dash (5th was just left 4 dead 2, 7th was Hasbro Family Game Night 3 and it goes on although some stuff was for kinect) and another with a later one despite having newer versions available.

Others reading with JTAG boxes FbBuild V0.32 (released about 5 weeks ago at this point) added support for 13599 although I am curious to see if the version checking stuff still holds if you are hanging back for whatever reaons. Equally I am not sure what goes with regards to DVD firmwares on the JTAG boxes (not that it is hard to get keys mind) if you are heading down that path.

Actually, Madden 12 and Rugby 2011 were Wave 12.
