BMP to JPG

Is there a good program that will convert BMP to JPG? I've tried a bunch of those trial programs that are always at the top of Googles list and with other conversions I find a good one. With this specific conversion, though, I have yet to come across an actually decent program.

In linux, I much prefer using the program 'convert' which is included with ImageMagick. Just open up a console and type 'convert file.bmp file.jpg' and you're done. No need to load up the Gimp or some other graphical app. The Gimp works great for photo manipulation, but simple file format conversions are much easier and quicker to do from a shell.

like FAST said, irfanview is the way to go with any kind of quick conversion.
I use it all the time for bath resizing, converting... it also adds nice borders :]
